Superintendent Granita Lathan has been at the helm of Peoria School District 150 for the last year.  In that time, her administration has recommended sweeping changes that include closing two buildings and moving two alternative school programs.  The district also continues to have ongoing financial challenges.  Lathan will give the first “State of the School” address to the business community this week.    WCBU’s Alex Rusciano spoke to Lathan on what the district needs to do to improve:
